CoWorking Tulum now hosting festivals?! Vol #28
Hola Chicos!
It’s been awhile since we sent out a newsletter. It was another crazy season in Tulum with non-stop events and time got the better of us.
As the low season is upon us, we can finally take a breather and reflect on the last 3 months. We will be reconnecting with our wider community to keep you guys updated on what’s happening in this [not so] sleepy beach town.
Tulum Crypto Fest
In May 2022, CoWorking Tulum alongside Tulum Crypto Club, Like Group and Feel the Fruit hosted its first ever multi-day Crypto festival – bringing people from all over Mexico and the world together to experience a weekend of immersion, inspiration, and education.
Opening in Downtown Tulum
We began festivities in downtown Tulum where attendees, sponsors and speakers were welcomed to the magnetic energy and natural lush of the Mayan jungle, setting the tone ahead for unforgettable experiences and deep connections waiting to be made
On Friday, we officially inaugurated the festival with a traditional Mayan ceremony followed by a full day of curated speaking sessions across multiple stages
For the crypto curious, a Crypto school was created to integrate learning minds eager to begin their journey into this space - covering foundational topics such as cryptocurrencies, how to acquire NFTs, and how to take ownership of wallets.
For more evolved topics, the crypto theater main stage was dedicated to advanced concepts such as the Tokenization of real estate, NFT experiences, the evolution of the metaverse, DAOs, and more.
For the next generation of learners, our program included a crypto for kids session where children from local schools were invited to work with a children’s book author to understand the evolution of money
As audiences immersed in the healing waters of the Tulum cenotes, inspiring talks and visions of a new future were delivered
On our final day, we held multiple panels focused within the NFT space across music, art and media and entertainment
With over 70 speakers ranging from entrepreneurs, global executives, actors and gold medalist athletes- there was no shortage of change makers and the breadth of topics covered.
This is Tulum.
