Michelin Star Cooking Masterclass, Heartwarming Member Stories / Features Vol #6

MEMBER FEATURE

Being part of an engaging community gives us a sense of belonging. It enables us to share personal stories, experiences and support each others growth.

At CoWorking Tulum, one of the elements that we are most proud of is our incredible community.

Today we would like to introduce one of our members, Zac Safron. Zac is the head of Sales at a Bitcoin Mining Company, has appeared on the AIBC Summit in Manila presenting on Crypto Mining and now travels the world and teaches people about bitcoin mining and personal development... and he is only 23 years old!

For the full feature on Zac, check out this weeks member feature in Instagram!

Zac will also be hosting a talk on the foundation of Crypto Currencies to our community soon so STAY TUNED for this (details to be announced next week!).

MICHELIN STAR COOKING MASTERCLASS

Our events are getting bigger as our community continues to grow. Whilst we will still keep our larger events, we have also just introduced a new initiative - CoHorts! Smaller and more intimate experiences for less than 10 people to allow for stronger connections.

For our first CoHort, Michelin star trained chef (and CoWorking Tulum member) Elvin Tschushi hosted a cooking master class at a private beach front property in the hotel zone.

While others were sheltering from the rain on Saturday, our cohorts had an interactive experience where Elvin cooked saffron arancini balls, showed how to make various dipping sauces and create delicious and refreshing rice paper rolls, followed by a live demonstration on cutting and grilling some generous cuts of rib eye steak! We also got to celebrate Sarah Khan's birthday which rounded the day out perfectly.

This was an intimate affair (9 people) with a gorgeous open kitchen on the beach.

MEMBER STORIES

Our community is full of beautiful people. This week we wanted to share a heartwarming story that involved two of our Members - The Jenny's (Jenny Graham and Jenny Leigh Morris).

Jenny G and Jenny LM were taking a yoga class in Holistika a few weeks back. After their class, they went to buy some coconut water where they were informed that the store owners dog (Magico) has been injured in a car accident and if they could help.

Without a second though, their nurturing instinct kicked in and they took on responsibility for Magico by taking it to a vet, covering all its medical expenses and providing a caring rehab facility (their home) and treating him to the healing powers of Tulum with acupuncture, laser and magnet therapy which is speeding up his recovery.

Since his accident, Magico is doing much better, has been trained and is already starting to walk again thanks for the ongoing nursing of Jenny G and Jenny LM.

We love you guys and are so inspired!
